What levels do you think you belong?

This description is to help you choose wich level you wish to attend. For Balboa a compulsory test will be held Saturday morning. The teachers will choose then in what level you truly belong. We will then give you the bracelet corresponding to your level.

Level 1 Beginner: Discover and learn to dance a swing dances of the 30s: the Balboa!.

Level 2 Intermediate: You master the Break Turn, the Paddle, the Come-Around and you wish to improve your bases in discovering new variations.

Level 3 Intermediate Advanced: You've followed several workshops, you master the basics in social in pure Bal and Bal Swing and start to hit the fast tempos. In addition to learning new passes, you want to refine your guidance and connection.

Level 4 Advanced: You are able to guide -or follow- many variations. You are very comfortable on all tempos, from fastest to slowest. Looking now to improve your style and refine your musicianship. You do not remember how many national or international workshops you've attend: the virus is in you!

Level 5 Advanced+: You teach and/or start creating your own variations. You are looking for new inspirations.

Level 1 Beginner: Discover and learn a dynamics dance of the swing area : the Collegiate Shag!

Level 2 Intermediate: You master the basic step on medium tempos and you wish to develop your catalog of figures.

Level 3 Advanced: You practice the Shag regularly on all tempos and you want to buy elegance and fluidity.
